Apple Raisin French Toast

Ingredients
- 2 cup Crisp Apple Reàl
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups heavy cream
- Beans from 1/2 vanilla bean pod
- 1 pinch salt
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 8 slices brioche or Texas toast
- 1 stick unsalted butter, plus more for frying
- 1 apple, peeled and diced
- 1 Tablespoon golden raisins
Directions
- Mix eggs, cream, Crisp Apple Reàl, vanilla beans, and spices thoroughly. Soak bread in mixture for 3 minutes.
- Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium-low heat, add apples and raisins, and cook for 5 minutes. Turn heat off and add Crisp Apple Reàl.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt 1 Tablespoon butter and cook soaked bread until golden brown on each side.
- Serve individually or family-style on a platter, topped with Crisp Apple Reàl raisin mixture.
