Coconut Waffles

Ingredients

  • 0.25 cup Coco Reàl
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 ½ cups milk, 
warmed
  • ⅓ cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup Coco Reàl
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Raisins, fruit, or nuts, for garnish

Directions

  1. Preheat waffle iron to desired temperature.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together flour, salt, and baking powder.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs. Stir in the milk, butter, Coco Reàl, and vanilla. Pour the milk mixture into the flour mixture; beat until blended.
  4. Ladle batter onto waffle iron, and cook according to manufacturer’s directions. Repeat with remaining batter. Serve topped with raisins, fruit, or nuts.
